Essential Systems for Free Mining Process Research

We present information about 7 fundamental systems of the National Mining Agency (ANM). These platforms provide free access and are essential to obtain relevant information about mining processes.

1️⃣ Cadastro Mineiro (CM): Centralizes crucial information about mining processes, such as area, ownership, associated titles, mineral substances, events, coordinates, and polygon drawings.

2️⃣ SEI – Electronic Information System: It is ANM’s official system for the management of electronic processes and documents. Complementary to CM, it allows you to check the progress of processes, access public documents, and make administrative requests.

3️⃣ SIGMINE – Mining Geographic Information System: Aggregates spatial data from ANM, including information from other federal agencies, such as indigenous lands and conservation units’ limits. It is a useful tool to consult registered mining process areas and verify availability.

4️⃣ Portal da Transparência Mineral: Less known, it provides information about CFEM and TAH collection, allowing queries by state or mining process. It has a field of “Observations” that complements event descriptions in CM.

5️⃣ ANMLegis: It is a valuable source of information with a structured collection of ANM’s regulations, such as resolutions, ordinances, laws, decrees, NRMs, PROGE opinions, service orders, manuals, and awarded titles. The regulations are constantly updated, making it excellent for studies.

6️⃣ SOPLE – Public System of Public Offer and Electronic Auction: Exclusive to follow ANM’s availability notices for areas, as regulated by ANM Resolution No. 24/2020.

7️⃣ SIGBM – Integrated Mining Dam Management System (public): Allows consultation of mining dam classifications and the location of structures on interactive maps.
