Today (29) marks the conclusion of the prestigious exhibition and impactful presentations of the 8th National Meeting of Medium and Small Mining – BRASMIN2023 – Mining Industry Fair, held in Goiânia from June 27th to 29th, 2023.
The event brought a true expansion of horizons for the mining sector in Brazil. BRASMIN 2023 stood out for bringing together the main entities and companies related to mining, providing a conducive environment for knowledge exchange, business opportunities, and networking.
During the three days of the fair, BRASMIN 2023 had the support of an extensive list of important entities and associations in the sector, including ABA (Brazilian Bar Association – National Commission of Mining Law), ABIMAQ (Brazilian Machinery Industry Association), among others, demonstrating the scope and relevance of the event.
Mining has always been a fundamental pillar of the Brazilian economy since colonial times. Responsible for extracting raw materials used in various industries such as metallurgy, steelmaking, fertilizers, construction, among others, the mineral sector accounted for 22.5% of the Brazilian GDP in 2021, reaching a total of 145 billion dollars.
The meeting also emphasized the role of Medium and Small Mining in the country. Despite representing the majority of mining companies and being responsible for the production of essential mineral goods for quality of life, these companies are often overlooked in sector policies.
BRASMIN 2023 sought to give voice to these companies and highlight their importance in Brazil’s economic development, as emphasized by the Brasmin news portal.
The international promotion of the event was carried out by Emme, bringing their extensive experience in events outside Brazil. ABPM – Brazilian Association of Mineral Research Companies was the organizing entity, ensuring the quality and relevance of the event.
We would like to thank the Communication Lead of Minera Brasil for providing the incredible photos that you will be able to see throughout this post, capturing a glimpse of the atmosphere and memorable moments of the fair.
