he ANM has published Resolution ANM No. 156/2024. The act creates the Declaration of Economic and Fiscal Information of CFEM (DIEF-CFEM), replacing the current CFEM Apportionment Registration Form.
This monthly declaration is mandatory for individuals and entities with mining rights in the extraction phase, aiming to register information about the Financial Compensation for the Exploration of Mineral Resources (CFEM) and must be complied with as of January 1, 2025.
The DIEF-CFEM must be submitted electronically, including detailed data on the mining process, mineral substance, and values for CFEM calculation. The deadline for submission will be until the 26th day of the second month after the occurrence of the triggering event, which may be extended under certain conditions.
The declaration will serve as an acknowledgment of debt and will be subject to a fine for late submission.
The ANM will provide additional guidance through Regulatory Instruction and manuals.
