Licensing Meeting or PLG
The encompassing of areas is indicated for holders of polygonal areas that are contiguous. The procedure is allowed for areas in the licensing and mining permit phase.
In the case of the licensing regime, the procedure must respect a maximum limit of 50 (fifty) hectares of total area.
For the mining permission regime the following maximum limits must be observed:
I – 50 (fifty) hectares, for individuals or individual firms under the terms of art. 5, III, of Law No. 7,805, of July 18,1989; and
II – 10,000 (ten thousand) hectares in the Legal Amazon and 1,000 (one thousand) hectares for the other regions, for cooperatives of miners.
