The National Mining Agency (ANM) announced today the extension of the start date for the Annual Mining Report (RAL) submission campaign for the year 2024, based on the 2023 fiscal year.
The new deadline to commence report submissions has been adjusted to January 29, while the final deadline remains unchanged, closing on March 15, as established by Article 47 of the Mining Code.
This decision stems from the need to make adjustments to the RALweb application, the platform responsible for receiving and processing the data contained in the reports.
ANM is implementing these updates to enhance efficiency and accuracy in filling out the information, with a special emphasis on those used in the calculation of the Financial Contribution for Mineral Exploration (CFEM) distribution to municipalities affected by mining activities.
The improvements in the application will enable ANM to identify with greater precision the location of structures associated with mining projects and the amount of ore processed at such sites.
With these enhancements, ANM aims to optimize the distribution of CFEM, directly benefiting municipalities impacted by mining structures, including dams and heaps.
We are committed to keeping stakeholders informed of any additional changes and ensuring that the RAL submission process occurs efficiently and smoothly for all involved.
