The ANM RESOLUTION No. 139, OF SEPTEMBER 11, 2023 was approved by the Board of Directors of the National Mining Agency (ANM) to change the due date of the Annual Hectare Fee (TAH) related to research permits with a triggering event occurred in the first half of 2023.
The new due date has been set for September 30, 2023.
This decision is in accordance with the provisions of the Mining Code (Decree-Law No. 227/1967) and ANM’s regulatory structure.
The resolution, based on relevant legal grounds, aims to provide clarity and ensure compliance with payment obligations associated with research permits in the mineral sector.
For cases of non-payment of TAH or payments outside the due date, the title holder will be subject to the application of a fine.
The resolution comes into effect immediately after publication.
