NOTICE No. 57/2023-CED/SOD-ANM/DIRC – NOTICE No. 1/2022 – Process 48051.002854/2021-94
In the Official Gazette of the Union dated July 31, 2023, the Homologation and Adjudication of Notice No. 01/2022 – 6th Round of Available Areas by the National Mining Agency (ANM) was published. The Notice grants the right to request a permission for GARIMPEIRA MINING in the areas listed in the attached Annex of the Notice.
According to the ANM:
- 93 (ninety-three) areas were won in the Pre-Public Offering stage;
- 123 (one hundred and twenty-three) areas were won in the Social Evaluation stage;
- 204 (two hundred and four) areas received no proposals in the Pre-Public Offering and Social Evaluation stages; and
- There were no areas withdrawn or suspended in the 6th Round of Available Areas.
The areas that received no proposals in the Pre-Public Offering and Social Evaluation stages, listed in TABLE 3 of the Homologation and Adjudication Term CED SEI 8518239, are now available for new applications. They can be requested under any mineral resource utilization regime provided by the legislation, starting from August 1, 2023, which corresponds to the subsequent business day after the publication date in the Official Gazette of the homologation results extract (items 8.6.1 and 9.2.7 of the Notice).
